  1. Position Summary

The Production Engineer is responsible for translating design information into clear production instructions, ensuring that manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with quality and safety standards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement in production.

  2. Collaborate with design engineers, quality engineers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability of designs.

  3. Develop and implement plans to improve product cost and quality.
  4. Establish quality control checks to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
  5. Monitor and analyze production workflows; identify bottlenecks and implement solutions with the Production Team Manager.
  6. Design and develop tools, jigs, and equipment to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to production teams.
  8. Assist in production area layout planning and suggest improvements.
  9. Evaluate different manufacturing methods and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  10. Maintain accurate records of production processes and provide performance reports.
  11. Troubleshoot production line issues and propose corrective actions.
  12. Convert design information into clear step-by-step manufacturing instructions.
  13. Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct and Health & Safety regulations.

Experience & Education:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • HBO/University degree in a related technical field.
  • Training in Human Factors and SMS (Safety Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Proficient communication skill in English

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of IQEM procedures and compliance.
  • Lean manufacturing principles & process analysis (5S, Kanban, VSM, flow & pull).
  • Advanced knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes & techniques.

Skills:

  • Proficient in CAD and Excel.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and risk anticipation.
  • Process optimization & results-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced organizational, time-management, and team collaboration skills.
  • Coaching and knowledge-sharing ability.
