Role: Data Engineer - FPT Software

Location: HN, HCM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct, install, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
  • Collect, process, and store structured and unstructured data from various sources (internal and external).
  • Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across data platforms.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other teams to understand data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Implement data integration, transformation, and migration solutions using ETL tools and frameworks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data flow and system issues.
  • Maintain documentation on data systems, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good English Communication
