We are seeking a talented 
Backend Engineer (Senior/Lead)
 to join our team of skilled software engineers, product managers, and test engineers in Vietnam. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring that our platform scales to meet user demand while maintaining the highest quality standards.

The Core Job:

  • Develop and implement algorithms to handle massive volumes of real-time data.
  • Work closely with the product team to iterate quickly on new features and experiments.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and group brainstorming sessions.
  • Deliver high-quality code following best practices for better performance, user experience, and reusability.
  • Troubleshoot existing codebases, hunt down nasty bugs, and refactor code.
  • Mentor a team of 2-4 engineers.

You Must Have:

  • 4++ years of experience in backend programming (
    Python
    ) and previous product company experience.
  • Be able to write clean, performance-centric, reusable, and understandable code with unit tests.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful web services.
  • Good command of English is a plus.

Extra Bonus If You Have:

  • Knowledge of caching, message queues, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Experience working on large-scale and high-traffic systems.
  • Desire to learn and extend the roles within the engineering team whatever it is, like analytics, automated tests, business development, product management, DevOps..
