The role

• Design and execute test cases for new and existing applications.
• Develop test plans, follow Agile processes, and report defects clearly.
• Perform manual, integration, and API testing (Postman or similar tools).
• Conduct database testing using SQL/PLSQL.
• Implement UI and API test automation using Playwright (mandatory) and optionally Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, or Karate.
• Utilize GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q) for automation scripts and test case generation.
• Collaborate in CI/CD environments and support performance testing (JMeter or similar).
• Work independently or in Agile teams to ensure quality delivery.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in software testing; 1+ year in automation.
• Strong skills in manual testing, API testing, and SQL.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (mandatory); Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with batch processing, shell scripting, and infrastructure configuration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of banking, insurance, or energy domains is a plus.
• Good English communication skills.

• Experience with AI/Data testing.
• Exposure to non-functional testing (performance, security).
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube).
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work under deadlines.
