Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) Greater Asia is a ~1.3 B Euro Business. Vietnam is a key market in the BU with business Turnover of ~240 M Euro and home to iconic brands including Clear, AHC and Simple. Greater Asia is seen as a geography which is an early adopter of Social First marketing.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
Beauty & Wellbeing Vietnam HR Partner role is a key member of the small and impactful HR team for the BU.
a) The role partners the commercial lead of Vietnam on B&W Vietnam end to end people (Marketing, CSP, CSP, functions) and culture agenda and the Vietnam B&W LT.
b) The role will also partner 1 or 2 key functional Leaders for B&W BU e.g. SC or Finance or CMI (exact details will be shared once the full HR organization structure is announcement)
c) Plays a larger role in leading the critical Organization, Capability, Culture linked agenda for the BU at large along with the Beauty & Wellbeing Greater Asia HR Lead and the HR team for the BU.
This role is 100% dedicated to B&W Greater Asia BU.

ORGANIZATION:

• Understand the current organization design, the gaps and collaborating with business leaders to resource for value.

• Governance of overall workforce resourcing against the Destination organization and overheads budgets including planning/tracking of FTEs, interns etc.
CAPABILITY:

• Marketing and Business Model transformation: Partnering with relevant business leads towards upskilling the organization towards new social first and business model. E.g. Social first upskilling, CSP skills upskilling

• Function specific capability interventions collaborating with global functions HR team

• Beauty Academy: Ensuring engagement and participation of teams in Beauty Academy programs

• Collaborate with BU HR team, BG HR community and the Global capability teams to prioritize and implement Capability interventions including 1) Leadership interventions e.g. BULT day aways and 2) Function specific interventions e.g. Marketing, CSP global curriculum nominations & deployment.
CULTURE & TALENT:

• Collaborate with BG HR community and BU HR team in "Re-energizing the organization in Q1" and through the next 2-3 years bringing alive Beauty Culture which makes the BU the most respected and admired Beauty Company.

• Coach Leaders and Teams in dialing up the edge in Performance Culture and in embracing the new Unilever behaviours

• Leading the People Forums for Vietnam. Within the BU HR Team we will have 1 HR member to lead Talent agenda for the entire BU. The role is expected to also be a Talent Scout looking to attract best of Beauty Talent from within and in the Industry.

SKILLS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE:
 Beauty Quotient: the candidate must have an appreciation for Beauty and be able to relate to the beauty and digital talent we want to attract.
 Business acumen: deep understanding or willingness to truly learn what the business does, what are the key metrics to demonstrate value & impact.
 More human: High EQ to be able to establish connection, trust and respect from the teams partnered. Ability to energize moments worth celebrating and manage with utmost maturity the moments that need a professional, humane approach.
 Strategic thinking and Rigour in data/detail: someone who could zoom out and understand the "why" by diving into data and insights, as well as get hands dirty and brilliantly execute the "what".
 Performance Coaching & Casting: ability to coach and challenge leaders and teams
 Agility: Openness and willingness to accept ambiguity, learn, experiment and innovate.

EXPERIENCES THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE:
 HR Partnering experience in Marketing and or go-to-market teams and functions (like SC) may help. Experience of working in Beauty/Personal care category would be an added advantage.
 Driving organization, capability and culture agenda across 1 or multiple countries
 Experience of local country employment norms and ways of working is a must.
 Experience of working in regional teams (networking, ways of working nuance, where to add distinctive value and understanding tension points)
 Working with breadth of HR teams in countries (e.g. PP, TP, IR/ER teams etc.)
Who are the Beautiful Entrepreneurial bunch you would work with?
 This role reports to Geeta Royyuru, Beauty & Wellbeing Greater Asia HR Lead and Head of HR for Philippines.
 The incumbent in the role will work very closely with a) the B&W Commercial Lead Vietnam and the Greater Asia BU Leadership Team b) BU HR and c) BG HR community
 The incumbent will also collaborate regularly with all roles in the HR operating framework: e.g. People Partners, Talent Partners
