Founded in 2016, Glohow is a global game service and publishing company headquartered in Singapore, operating as a subsidiary of Kakao Games in 2020, with regional offices in Thailand, Taiwan, Korea and Vietnam (since 2018).

We have successfully published and serviced multiple games across Asia, with standout titles such as Guardian Tales, which achieved top rankings in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia; Odin: Valhalla Rising, which surpassed 1 million new users within 30 days of its Taiwan launch, reaching #1 on both iOS and Google Play and later winning the Grand Prize and Best Graphics at the 2021 Korea Game Awards.

As our team expands, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Game Developer to assume technical ownership of our new game project. You will be responsible for leading the client-side development, architecting robust systems, implementing engaging gameplay mechanics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality gaming experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement gameplay features, mechanics, and client-side systems using Unity and C#.
• Architect and lead the development of the client-side game architecture.
• Design and integrate UI elements such as menus, HUDs, and interactive components for an intuitive player experience.
• Optimize game performance to ensure smooth gameplay across various mobile devices and platforms.
• Identify, debug, and resolve client-side issues to maintain stability and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to seamlessly integrate client-side features with the overall game system.

• 7+ years of experience in Unity (2D/3D) development or equivalent proficiency.
• Strong C# programming skills with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience working on mobile game development projects, either in production or as a personal project.
• Full professional or native-level proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer in a small team or startup environment, having successfully shipped a product from start to finish in that role.
• Proven experience shipping a mobile game from development to launch, including close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Product Management (PM), Operations, Design, and QA.
• Experience with post-launch live operations, including deploying content updates, managing bug fixes, and implementing balance patches in a live environment.
• Experience in establishing and managing development workflows, including version control (Git) and automated build pipelines (CI/CD).
• Advanced skills in performance optimization for mobile platforms, platform-specific integration (e.g., Firebase, ad SDKs), and shader programming.
• A deep passion for casual/idle mobile games and a proactive, problem-solving mindset toward new technical challenges.
