Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Country Manager to lead our sales operations for metrology solutions across the country. This role involves defining sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of CMM/PCMM and other metrology products, combined with proven leadership and sales management experience at a national level.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop Operational Plans
  • From communications to service to logistics, the country manager should ensure that all aspects of a business operate smoothly. They ensure that a business' in-country affiliate adheres to all country regulations and cultural guidelines. They also develop plans for company growth and improvement of sales.
  • Responsible for implementing the company's strategy to grow the business profitably in the country. Also develop country specific strategies and tactics to gain market share
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and run the service team effectively to service customers in the country
  • Collaborate with other entities and regional staff to promote and protect One Hexagon globally
  • Ensure profitable operations. Meet financial budget
  • Drive after-sales business growth through SMA (Service & Maintenance Agreements), training packages, and application support contracts.
  • Implement Brand Strategies
  • Responsible for building a company's brand in a specific country or region. They devise advertising and promotion plans in product positioning for the country
  • Be the company's spokesperson and face to network with the business community
  • Build our links and reputation in the industry to get more business
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events to strengthen brand presence.
  • Generate Progress reports
  • Continually assess company progress, sales and marketing successes and compile reports to submit to superiors.
  • Reports regarding budgets, sales growth or declines, new business leads and regulatory compliance.

  • Recruit, train and retain staff

  • Work closely with regional HR on recruitment and training plan

  • Manage the staff effectively. Motivate, mentor and manage the staff to build a good culture and reputation in the company.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Mass Communications, and Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
  • At least 5 - 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Experience managing distributors, channel partners, and direct sales teams.
  • Results-oriented, strong in identifying opportunities, developing strategy and executing business plans.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and self-sufficient.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and creative skills (both written and oral).
  • Self-directed, able to work and deliver timely and accurate results with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be able to work with a large amount of data meticulously, have a good analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented, accountable, strong work ethic and a strong team player. Positive working attitude with a pleasant personality.
