Product Owner

Job Overview
bTaskee is looking for a Product Owner who will be responsible for defining, developing, and optimizing bTaskee's core products/features, focusing on delivering maximum value to both Customers (users booking services) and Taskers (service providers). This role is crucial in translating the overall business strategy into specific, user-friendly, and scalable product features.

Responsibilities And Duties
Product Strategy and Vision

• Define Vision: Establish and communicate the product vision, strategy, and detailed roadmap, ensuring alignment with bTaskee's overall business objectives.
• Market/User Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on the home services market, competitors, and user behavior to identify opportunities and pain points.

Product Backlog and Requirement Management

• Backlog Ownership: Take full ownership of the Product Backlog, including prioritization, grooming, and maintaining clarity for the development team.
• Write User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Translate business goals into detailed user stories, complete with clear and measurable acceptance criteria.
• Prioritization: Utilize prioritization frameworks (e.g., MoSCoW, RICE/ICE) to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Engineering Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering and Design (UX/UI) teams during sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups to ensure product implementation meets quality and requirements.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Care) to gather requirements, feedback, and secure alignment on product decisions.
• Quality Assurance: Support the QA team in testing and verifying developed features prior to release.

Measurement and Optimization

• Product Launch: Lead the launch process for new products/features, including internal communication and coordination with Marketing/Operations for public release.
• Data Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) post-launch (e.g., Conversion Rate, User Retention, Job Completion Time) to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
• Feedback Loop: Gather, analyze user feedback, and iterate the development process based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications And Skills
Must have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Senior Business Analyst, preferably in a tech startup, E-commerce, or on-demand/marketplace service platform environment;
• Ability to deeply understand user and market needs to define valuable product solutions;
• Proficient in using analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, Tableau) to make data-driven decisions;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Proactive, responsible mindset, and eager to learn new knowledge.

Nice to have

• Knowledgeable in UI/UX principles and best practices;
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
