Position Overview

We're seeking a talented Middle Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to building our vehicle inspection platform using Golang. As a Middle Software Engineer at , you'll develop backend services, work with AI/ML integrations, and help build systems that process vehicle inspections at scale. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with strong programming fundamentals who want to master Golang while working on cutting-edge technology that serves dealerships, fleet operators, insurers, and vehicle marketplaces worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

  • Develop and maintain backend services primarily using Golang
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal microservices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
  • Debug and resolve technical issues in production environments

Feature Development

  • Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements
  • Implement new features following established design patterns
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
  • Contribute to technical documentation
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning

System Integration

  • Integrate with third-party APIs and services
  • Work with databases to implement CRUD operations
  • Implement data validation and error handling
  • Assist in building data processing pipelines
  • Support AI/ML model integration under senior guidance

Learning & Growth

  • Learn and apply Golang best practices and idioms
  • Study existing codebase to understand architectural patterns

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 2-4 years of software engineering experience
  • Strong foundation in at least one backend language (Java, Python, C++, C#, , etc.)
  • Experience with RESTful API development
  • Familiarity with microservices concepts
  • Track record of delivering features in production environments

Technical Skills

  • Strong programming fundamentals:
  • Object-oriented and functional programming concepts
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • Design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Understanding of concurrency concepts
  • Debugging and profiling skills

Willingness and ability to learn Golang quickly

Experience with:

  • SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
  • Version control with Git
  • Basic Linux/Unix command line
  • Writing unit tests and integration tests
  • JSON and data serialization formats
  • Basic understanding of HTTP protocols
