Finance Director

Job purpose:

• Lead the financial strategy, ensuring financial health, compliance, risk management, and capital optimization to enable sustainable growth.

Job description:

• Develop and execute medium–long term financial strategy aligned with the business strategy
• Own budgeting, planning & forecasting (AOP/rolling), and performance tracking against KPIs.
• Ensure liquidity, manage working capital, and optimize capital structure and cost of capital.
• Oversee financial reporting and month-end close, ensure VAS/IFRS compliance, internal & external audits.
• Manage financial risks (credit/FX/interest), internal controls, and legal–tax compliance.
• Handling external audits.
• Lead investor, banking, and lender relations; fundraising, M&A, and IPO/listing (if applicable).
• Co-lead finance digital transformation (ERP, BI, e-invoicing, RPA).
• Coach and develop Finance & Accounting teams; foster a culture of integrity and performance.
• Act as strategic partner to BoD on investments, valuations, and expansion decisions.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/Auditing; candidates with ACCA/CPA/CFA certifications are preferred.
• 8–10 years in finance with ≥5 years in leadership (FD/CFO).
• Strong knowledge of VAS, IFRS, tax, and Vietnam corporate regulations; audit liaison experience.
• Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, valuation; cash and capital structure management.
• Experience in [retail/manufacturing/tech/services…] and high-growth environments is a plus.
• Fluency in English (written & verbal).

Local Vietnamese is preferable
