Your day at NTT DATA
 

As an Product Owner (Payment, Lending Domain) at NTTDATA, you will Lead mobile and web application development projects focused on Payment and Lending (accounts, QR, loans, credit cards). Define clear business requirements and drive product strategy to maximize customer value while coordinating between development teams and diverse stakeholders.
This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with Product Management to prepare for Program Backlog, participating in Agile Release Train (ART) Sync meetings, and cooperating to deliver Solution value. Key Responsibilities
  • Define product vision and manage roadmap for retail banking solutions
  • Manage backlog (requirements definition, prioritization)
  • Align requirements and specifications for mobile/web application development
  • Facilitate agreement and expectation management among stakeholders (customers, development, operations, executives)
  • Plan and manage project scope, schedule, and resources
  • Handle risk management, issue resolution, and vendor coordination
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application development projects for financial institutions
  • Deep knowledge of payment and lending (accounts, QR, loans, cards)
  • Experience and understanding of mobile/web application development
  • Strong skills in business requirements definition, BRD creation, and process design
  • Ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders with strong facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience and understanding of payment network (NAPAS), payment gateway integration
  • Basic knowledge of APIs and data models
  • Experience implementing systems such as core banking, CRM, AML, or eKYC (biometric authorization and verification)
  • Familiarity with API integration, data modeling, and system integration concepts
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Japanese language skills (optional)
