Job description
1. Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Final-year students or fresh graduates with strong iOS project portfolios are also welcome to apply.

2. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced features for the Motorist iOS app using Swift 5+, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Apply VIPER/MVVM architectures to ensure modular, testable, and scalable code.
• Apply reactive programming with RxSwift, Combine, and RxCocoa for event-driven features.
• Integrate Firebase SDK (Firestore, Remote Config, Crashlytics) for data, feature toggling, and app stability.
• Handle app life cycle events (background, foreground, terminated states) to ensure smooth user experiences.
• Work with RxSwift, RxCocoa, and RxRealm for reactive programming and event handling.
• Integrate APIs using Alamofire, ObjectMapper.
• Manage secure data and credentials using Locksmith and RealmSwift.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and QA testers to ensure smooth, reliable, and scalable app performance.
• Debug, refactor, and continuously optimize the app for performance and user satisfaction.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions to share knowledge and improve team efficiency.

Your skills and experience
Technical Experiences
Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Solid understanding of Swift, Xcode, and iOS SDK fundamentals.
• Familiar with VIPER/MVVM architecture, SOLID principles, OOP, and data structures.
• Experience working with databases such as RealmSwift or Core Data.
• Understanding of RESTful API integration and JSON data handling.
• Proficient understanding of code version control tools, such as Git.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to SwiftUI, Combine, or Reactive Programming (RxSwift / RxCocoa).
• Familiarity with Firebase SDK (Firestore, Remote Config, Crashlytics).
• Experience with CoreLocation, Google Maps SDK.
• Appreciation for clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Collaborative mindset and a reliable team player who takes ownership of their work.

Language Skills

• Able to communicate and collaborate in English (written and spoken).
• Willing to learn and improve communication when working with Singapore HQ and other markets.
