Job description

Laidon Group is hiring an IT Security Specialist to enhance SimpleMDG security, support ISO 27001 compliance, and manage customer security inquiries. This role involves implementing security measures, assisting with compliance documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a secure and compliant environment.

Responsibilities:

1. SimpleMDG Security Development (Primary Focus)

  • Assist in designing and implementing security controls, identity & access management (IAM), and data protection.
  • Support vulnerability scanning, threat monitoring, and remediation.
  • Work with DevOps and engineering teams to secure application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and emerging threats.

2. ISO 27001 Compliance Support

  • Assist in documenting security policies, risk assessments, and controls.
  • Support internal security audits and compliance tracking.
  • Provide input for security awareness training and policy updates.

3. Customer Security Inquiries

  • Respond to and document customer security questions and compliance requests.
  • Assist in preparing security reports and certifications.
  • Track and manage security-related customer interactions.
Your skills and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of applications, cloud, and network security.
  • Experience with Microsoft Security Stack (Defender Suite, Azure Security, Entra ID, Purview, Intune).
  • DevOps and/or Security experience in AWS, GitLab, Tenable, SonarQube is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD security and vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 requirements and security documentation is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in English.
