Quality Assurance Manager

Role Purpose

  • Fully responsible for Quality Management and Risk Management of all Private Label (NHR) products.
  • Act as the representative of the Internal Security Division to collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, QA, Legal and other functions on all matters related to product quality.
  • Final approver for factory assessments, first production batches, packaging evaluations, and risk alerts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality Management System

  2. Develop, standardize, and operate the end-to-end quality management system for all NHR products (aligned with International/Vietnamese standards).

  3. Build evaluation criteria and classification processes for suppliers.
  4. Develop periodic and ad-hoc inspection plans for suppliers.

  5. Ensure products are safe, compliant, stable, and transparent in origin before launch.

  6. Risk Management

  7. Establish a comprehensive risk management system for all stages: production, transportation, warehousing, retail display, and processing.

  8. Identify and assess critical risks; propose mitigation actions to the Division Director.

  9. Maintain and update data for the early-warning system related to product quality and suppliers.

  10. Incident Handling

  11. Lead the resolution of quality and food safety incidents.

  12. Conduct root-cause investigations and coordinate corrective & preventive action plans.
  13. Ensure proper communication and information control to protect WCM's brand reputation.
    1. People & Operational Management
  15. Propose organizational structure, manpower planning, and job descriptions for the department.
  16. Manage and evaluate team performance; develop successors and talents.
  17. Oversee budgeting, asset management, and compliance with internal processes and financial policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Technology, Quality Management, Food Safety, or relevant fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within Food, FMCG, or Cosmetics manufacturing.
  • Mandatory certifications: Lead Auditor / FSSC / ISO 22000.
  • Strong command of technical English.
  • Solid knowledge of retail operations, food safety, quality systems, and production models.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and risk management capability.
