II. JOB DESCRIPTION

As the
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

, you will oversee the company's entire technical ecosystem — from
backend to frontend

,
cloud infrastructure

, and
real-time sports data processing

.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and architect large-scale system design, including
    microservices

,
event-driven

, or
serverless

architectures as needed.
- Establish and standardize
software development processes

: CI/CD, code review, automated testing, and documentation.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (
AWS, GCP, or equivalent

) to ensure
performance, security, and cost efficiency

.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, downtime, and system bottlenecks.
- Build, mentor, and lead a
cross-functional engineering team

(Developers, QA, DevOps, Data Engineers) with a strong technical culture.
- Collaborate closely with the
CEO, Product, and UI/UX teams

to align technical direction with business strategy.
- Ensure the platform's flexibility to serve
multi-country users

, supporting
multiple languages, time zones, and sports regulations

.

III. REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of experience

in large-scale system development and
2+ years

in a senior engineering management role (CTO / Head of Engineering).
- Strong proficiency in at least one of the following languages:
, Golang, Python, Java, or Rust

.
- Proven hands-on experience in:
- Scaling systems with large user bases (
≥2M MAU

)
- Transitioning from
monolithic to microservices architecture
- Optimizing
latency, throughput, and concurrency
- Building
real-time data pipelines
- Implementing
caching systems (Redis, Memcached)

and database tuning
- Managing
CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, autoscaling, logging, monitoring
- Developing
multi-country systems

with localization, timezone, and multilingual support
- Applying
security best practices

(OWASP, token-based auth, rate limiting, secure storage)
- Strong system-thinking ability, deep problem-solving skills, and a hands-on leadership approach.

  • Preferred:
  • Experience working in
    tech startups

with
real-time app/web products

- Proven track record of leading products successfully to market.
