Overview:

The NetSuite Functional Consultant will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to ensure effective implementation and optimization of NetSuite solutions. The role involves gathering requirements, designing functional solutions, and supporting configuration, testing, and post-go-live activities across regional operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshops with business users to gather and document functional requirements (BRD/FRD).
  • Analyse current processes, identify gaps, and propose optimized NetSuite-based solutions.
  • Configure NetSuite modules (Finance, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, CRM, Intercompany, etc.) to meet business needs.
  • Conduct gap analysis between business needs and standard NetSuite functionalities, recommending enhancements or workarounds.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into configurations or specifications.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), provide training, and support go-live and post-implementation phases.
  • Maintain documentation of configuration decisions and ensure system changes are traceable and audit-ready.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a NetSuite or ERP Functional Consultant with full-cycle implementation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes in Finance, Sales, Inventory, and Intercompany operations.
  • Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, multi-currency, and multi-subsidiary environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, or light customization is an advantage.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in English; Bahasa Malaysia or other regional languages is a plus.
