The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Job discription1: OEM Market & Customer Development
- Build and execute strategies to acquire new OEM customers in Vietnam and overseas.
- Approach and present the company's manufacturing capabilities to global home appliance brands (EU, US, Japan, Korea, SEA, etc.).
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and product trend studies.
- Develop annual/quarterly/monthly sales plans and ensure KPI achievement.
2. Negotiation & OEM Contract Management
- Lead negotiations on pricing, MOQ, commercial terms, production & delivery schedules, and warranty conditions.
- Manage full project lifecycle:
RFQ → Sample → Testing → PO → Mass Production → Delivery
. - Monitor cost structures, margins, and commercial compliance.
- Ensure compliance with global standards: CE, GS, UL, RoHS, EMC, etc.
3. Cross-functional OEM Project Management
- Work closely with R&D to develop new products based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC on quality testing, factory audits, and export standards.
- Follow up production progress with planning and factory teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Handle technical issues, quality concerns, logistics, and after-sales matters.
4. Team Management
- Recruit, train, and develop the OEM sales team.
- Assign KPIs and evaluate team performance.
- Build standard workflows and processes for the OEM department.
5. Marketing & OEM Brand Building
- Support the preparation of OEM capability documents: catalogues, profiles, testing samples.
- Participate in international exhibitions: Canton Fair, IFA, CES, etc.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic OEM partners.
6. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly business reports for senior management.
- Control department budget and OEM-related expenses.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and international trade regulations.
Requirements
1. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain, or International Trade.
- Knowledge of home appliances or electronics is an advantage.
2. Experience
- At least
5–7 years
of OEM/ODM sales experience. - Minimum
3 years
in a leadership or team management role. - Experience working with factories and international clients.
3. Skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Project management skills (OEM/ODM).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes for home appliances.
- Good English communication (required).
- Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
