As an Account Manager, you will directly work with Japanese clients, acting as a key bridge between customers and the delivery team, while driving revenue growth from strategic accounts.
2. Key Responsibilities
Manage and strengthen relationships with Japanese clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Fluent in Japanese to conduct direct communication and negotiations with clients, bridging cultural and linguistic gaps.
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts by providing tailored value propositions.
Oversee the full contract lifecycle: quotations, proposals, negotiations, signing, and implementation monitoring.
Coordinate and supervise projects with the Delivery team, ensuring quality, timeline, and budget commitments.
Contribute to revenue forecasting and prepare regular business performance reports.
Analyze market trends and competitors to propose strategies for developing the Japanese market.
Support Rikkeisoft's brand and reputation in markets through seminars, events, and business matching activities.
3. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Languages, Management, or related fields.
1–3 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or similar roles (IT outsourcing/IT services preferred).
Languages: Japanese fluency (equivalent to JLPT N1 or strong N2).
English at business communication level.
Strong understanding of the Japanese market and business culture is a big advantage.
Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong planning, organizational, and multi-project management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce) is a plus.
Proactive, responsible, result-oriented, and willing to travel to Japan when required.
