Senior Manual QCs
are quality assurance professionals who play an extremely important role in the software development process. They not only test, but also analyze and evaluate the software from an end-user perspective to detect potential bugs and problems before the product reaches the customer.

Senior Testers are also people who have extensive knowledge and experience in their field of work. Senior Tester must be a person with solid professional knowledge and a good understanding of the work he is doing. In addition, they also have the ability to work on their own, finding effective solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Experience in testing web apps, mobile apps, databases and APIs.

2. Understand the testing process, testing techniques and types of testing and bug management.

3. Preparation and management of test plans and test scenarios

4. Ability to analyze complex requirements, know how to apply test case writing techniques to ensure that test cases cover all the requirements of the document.

5. Ability to synthesize and report test results. Ability to analyze and identify the risks of the project.

6. Know how to use Jira, Confluence/Wiki, Sharepoint, Excel

7. Have good problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

8. Proactive, open-minded, quick learner, capable of teamwork

9. Good adaptability to changing projects, learning and learning quickly for new projects

10. At least 2 years of experience as a team leader or key member of the project

11. Ability to review test cases of team members. Ability to train, mentor team members

  1. Education: Graduated from College or higher
  2. Experience: 4 years or more working experience in the field of Tester/Manual QC.

  3. Soft Skills:

  4. Communication skills: Active listening (understanding ideas in meetings or discussions); Clearly present (explain your opinions in an easy-to-understand and concise way)

  5. Time management skills: Comply with SLAs to ensure problem resolution within the stipulated time
  6. Coordination mindset: Professional attitude (stay calm and positive attitude in all situations).
  7. Management skills: Ability to manage project members, as well as review and resolve outstanding problems of processes or tasks.
