Responsibilities

As a core member of the Company's Executive Team, the Chief Legal Officer (CLO) plays a key strategic role in shaping the Company's legal direction, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting the organization's interests across all business verticals

1. Legal Strategy & Risk Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive legal strategy aligned with the Company's growth trajectory and innovation agenda.
  • Serve as the chief legal advisor to senior leadership on complex regulatory and business matters.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate legal risks across investment, technology, and international business operations.

2. Leadership & Legal Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage specialized legal teams covering VC and Corporate Affairs.
  • Establish internal legal protocols, training frameworks, and performance evaluation systems.
  • Promote a collaborative, ethical, and business-focused legal culture across the organization.

3. Corporate Governance & Compliance

  • Oversee corporate governance standards and ensure full legal compliance across all jurisdictions.
  • Maintain updated internal policies, contract management systems, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment with global regulatory bodies such as MAS (Singapore), SEC (USA), and VARA (UAE).

4. Support for Investment & Technology Initiatives

  • Provide legal advisory and strategic oversight for venture funding, capital raising, and M&A transactions.
  • Advise on legal matters, including tokenization, DAO governance, blockchain regulations, and digital asset compliance.
  • Ensure token projects, STOs, and technology initiatives comply with international laws and industry best practices.

Required skills and experiences

  • 7+ years in legal roles, including 3+ years in senior leadership in multinational, VC, or tech-driven environments.
  • Proven expertise in cross-border advisory, compliance, and managing high-stakes legal teams.
  • Corporate, investment, financial law; M&A, fundraising, corporate governance, IP, AML/CFT, and data protection.
  • Fluent in English.
