Press Start is a growing game studio dedicated to creating fun, engaging, and high-quality gaming experiences. We value creativity, ownership, teamwork, and continuous learning. We are currently looking for a talented Unity Game Developer with strong puzzle-game experience and solid understanding of client-server architecture to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize
    puzzle game mechanics
    using Unity (C#).
  • Work on
    game UI/UX
    flow, interactions, effects, and user-friendly layouts.
  • Handle
    client–server communication
    , including API integration and data exchange.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to design stable, scalable systems that connect with customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to gameplay, performance, and networking.
  • Participate in planning, feature design, sprint estimation, and code review.
  • Work closely with designers, artists, QA, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain clean, efficient, reusable code.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional experience as a
    Unity Game Developer
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    C# programming
    and Unity engine workflows.
  • Experience developing and shipping
    puzzle games
    (mobile preferred).
  • Familiar with
    game UI/UX design
    , responsive layout, and user interaction.
  • Solid understanding of
    networked systems, client-server architecture, REST APIs, and data handling
    .
  • Ability to optimize performance for multiple device types.
  • Experience using version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and in teams.
