Our client is a leading finance company in Vietnam, who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:
Short-term business planning
  • Monitor and analyze trends in the securities industry and changes in the financial market (macro/micro economy, products and services, market demand, regulations and policies, etc.)
  • Research the competitive landscape and identify the company's positioning.
  • Assess the impact on the company's operations, identify risks and opportunities, provide recommendations and analyze proposals to maintain/enhance competitive advantage and business performance.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to implement initiatives/actions to achieve business targets.
Medium- to long-term business strategy
  • Understand and shape the company's strategy, support the development of strategic plans and objectives.
  • Propose methodologies, initiatives, and resource allocation, and coordinate with departments to develop action plans to achieve the objectives.
  • Monitor the implementation of strategic plans and evaluate execution results.
  • Advise on adjustments to strategic direction and objectives to align with the company's operating situation and market dynamics.
Reporting
  • Consolidate operating data, target achievement and company plans; analyze and evaluate business performance on a periodic/ad-hoc basis.
Requirements
  • Understanding of strategic management and corporate operating structures.
  • Knowledge of financial economics and the securities market.
  • Solid grasp of securities business lines and investment products is an advantage.
  • At least 4–5 years of experience in Strategic Consulting/Planning/Management, Business Planning, Research/Analyst roles or other related positions.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in securities companies, banks, or strategic consulting firms.
  • Proficiency in office IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • English skills: able to communicate, present and report in English
  • Strong communication, presentation, persuasion, collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Strong research, synthesis, analysis, reporting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve issues.
