Navigos Search's client is an FDI information technology company is looking for a
Senior Bridge System Engineer (AI Project) (up to $3500).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a bridge engineer between Japanese clients and the Vietnam-based development team for projects involving AI/ML, Generative AI, Computer Vision, and NLP.
  • Attend requirement-gathering sessions and advise new clients on appropriate AI solutions.
  • Participate in business and requirement analysis — clarify client needs and translate them into detailed specifications for the technical team.
  • Create requirement documents as well as basic design and detailed design documents when needed.
  • Review outputs from development, data, and AI engineering teams, and provide feedback to both internal teams and clients.
  • Join regular client meetings to present results, propose technical solutions, and support issue resolution.
  • Conduct internal training sessions on Japanese client workflows and foundational AI knowledge for team members.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or related IT fields from universities, colleges, or programming academies.
  • JLPT N2 or above (N1 preferred) — strong communication skills suitable for Japanese business settings and client presentations.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML, including:
  • Core AI concepts and common AI solution architectures.
  • Familiarity with major Machine Learning algorithms (classification, regression, clustering, etc.).
  • Knowledge of AI cloud platforms and cloud infrastructure/deployment (e.g., Azure ML, Azure AI Foundry).
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in AI-related projects.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills — able to produce clear, structured specifications; experience with Japanese-style documentation.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Deep Learning concepts such as CNN, RNN, and Transformer architectures.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
  • Strong Python skills or experience working with MLOps platforms.
  • Experience working onsite in Japan or collaborating closely with Japanese clients.
  • Experience developing chatbot systems using LLM + RAG/Agent architectures.
  • Familiarity with project and task management tools like Jira, Redmine, or Backlog.
