Role summary

You will architect a
Simulation Application
that enables users to configure scenarios, run simulations through the core platform, and generate results/reporting. You will also lay the technical foundation for
future digital twin scope
: lifecycle-ready data contracts, extensibility, and integration pathways.

Key responsibilities

  • Define product architecture for scenario/configuration management, simulation orchestration (jobs/retries/scheduling), and reporting/exports.
  • Specify clean integration contracts with the simulation core platform: schemas, versioning strategy, traceability metadata, and error semantics.
  • Design for extensibility: templates, batch runs, parameter sweeps, analytics hooks, multi-consumer access (UI + API).
  • Own NFRs: responsiveness, reliability, auditability, security posture, and data governance.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with product/UX, backend, QA, and DevOps; convert workflows into durable systems.
  • Maintain crisp architecture documentation and decision records throughout delivery.

Required qualifications

  • 6+ years software engineering; 2+ years in architecture for workflow-driven or user-facing applications.
  • Strong system design spanning UI backend execution services.
  • Strong orchestration patterns (queues/workers/async jobs) and resilient integration design.
  • Strong data modeling for scenarios/configurations and simulation results.
  • Excellent written communication (specs, diagrams, ADRs) and stakeholder management.
  • Comfortable operating under strict confidentiality, access control, and IP protection practices.

Preferred / nice-to-have

  • Experience with simulation-driven or engineering workflow products.
  • Digital twin exposure (model + data + lifecycle): telemetry alignment, version governance, traceability-by-design.
  • Experience with on-prem/hybrid deployments and migration planning.
