As Regional HR Director for the APAC organization, you will partner with regional business leaders to develop a people strategy aligned with overall business goals and global HR initiatives. You will drive the implementation of core People programs such as performance management, succession planning, talent assessment, and workforce planning, while creating targeted initiatives that enable your business groups to achieve and exceed their strategic objectives.

You will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing guidance on organizational design, change management, and leadership development. The role requires building strong, influential relationships across the organization and serving as a key contact for strategic HR consultation covering employee relations, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

For this role, it is mandatory that you are willing to relocate to Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and implement talent management programs aligned with global People strategy and tailored to the specific needs of the APAC market/functions.
  • Lead quarterly workforce planning for the region (approx. 350 FTE), collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic partner on all HR-related initiatives, driving operational excellence and leading change management efforts.
  • Deliver timely, high-quality, and cost-effective HR services to regional business units.
  • Build HR capability and culture across APAC teams.
  • Represent the region in global HR leadership forums and ensure alignment of HR operations and organizational structure.
  • Coach, develop, and manage the performance of a team of six HR professionals.
  • Provide regional input and feedback on global HR policies and programs; adapt and deploy them locally.
  • Partner with local HR on labor relations and interactions with authorities, unions, and works councils.
  • Proactively analyze people data and trends to identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive organizational effectiveness.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with leaders, facilitating crucial conversations and maintaining confidentiality with integrity and discretion.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, combining business partnering and talent management expertise.
  • Proven background in organizational design, team building, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; global experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience working across APAC Region setup
  • Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and present ideas effectively.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory
