About this opportunity:

We are seeking exceptional students to join our firm as Quantitative Research Interns. While prior finance experience is not required, successful candidates must possess a strong interest in learning about finance, cryptocurrency markets, and quantitative modeling. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing predictive models for digital asset markets and blockchain-based financial products.

You will:

  • Develop computer-based models that seek to predict movements in cryptocurrency and digital asset markets
  • Analyze and apply various types of data to financial markets through rigorous exploration and innovative thinking
  • Build and test quantitative trading strategies using historical and real-time market data
  • Conduct statistical analysis on large datasets from multiple cryptocurrency exchanges
  • Present research findings and model performance to technical and business teams
  • Explore applications of machine learning techniques to cryptocurrency market prediction
  • Document research methodologies and maintain code repositories for reproducible research

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degrees from a leading university in related fields (Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering,...)
  • Expected graduation in late 2025 or 2026
  • Demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, R, Rust,...)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Strong mathematical and statistical background
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling
  • Interest in financial markets, particularly cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) preferred
  • Experience with data visualization tools (matplotlib, plotly, Tableau) preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good English reading and writing skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage project timelines
