Your skills and experience

To thrive at Employment Hero, you'll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you'll also bring

• Over 2 years of hands-on experience in backend or API development.
• You have engineering fundamentals, including understanding of databases, RESTful APIs, and software design patterns.
• You are proficient in at least one backend programming language and comfortable learning new ones (we'll help you upskill in our stack).
• You understand version control (Git), CI/CD, and automated testing, and are familiar with Agile development workflows.
• You take ownership of the problems you solve, think beyond the code, and care about delivering meaningful outcomes for users.
• You communicate effectively, embrace feedback, and enjoy collaborating across functions and time zones.
• You have a growth mindset, always learning, experimenting, and refining your technical and problem-solving skills.
• You have experience with frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript, or you're eager to upskill and take on FullStack responsibilities as part of your growth path.
