Sales & Business Development Executive

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
The Sales & BD Executive's responsibility is to drive sales activities in assigned market and reseller segments (national or international) to maintain and develop these further periodically. The person understands national and international market interrelationships as well as the connections and mechanics of involved stakeholders and parties in the context of wholesale – retail – consumer sales.
The person knows how to strategically and operational plan and executive BD Activities that contribute to a continuous improved of product and brand awareness, sales and relationships to reseller partners. The person is experienced in creating and conducting presentations, trainings and is able to lead meaningful sales meeting and talks to build relationships, gather important intelligence and place possible leads in form of campaigns or similar.
The BD executive manages assigned existing accounts and reseller segments by monitoring individual resellers annual performance and takes own initiative or involve supervisors for actions taken. This person is a natural talent of networking and understand business development not as a job but as a personal appetite. She/he knows how to set reasonable objectives based on a SMART approach and follows them thru with actions that in a reasonable manner led to a possible ROI.
TASKS / RESPONSIBILTIES
Sales Management
• Being responsible for markets/segment and individual accounts to manage the business and development on an operational and semi-strategic level with short and long lead-in vision
• Plan, organize and conduct on own initiative individual sales and marketing activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis (physical sales meetings, online meeting, webinars etc.).
Business development
• Plans meaningful BD activities ahead of time on a monthly and quarterly basis and follows them thru in a very organized manner without much supervisor by the supervisor
• Manage new accounts to develop them in the year of onboard, manage existing account on metrics to develop their performance on a forward basis
Relationship Management
• Builds relationships with senior and executive levels
• Handles Group and charter business in cooperation with supervisor
• Does market and account research to be aware of interrelationships.
Lead Nurturing
• Knows how to develop lead driven campaigns and works closely with marketing team in order brand standards are kept and digital analytics will be possible
• Other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor
Reporting
• Daily achievement reports
• Weekly and monthly reports
• Records any actions and activities in the CRM and is able to report to supervisor in a filtered manner
Continuous Improvement
• Identify areas for continual improvement across Sales and Administration processes
• Seek out and develop better ways to undertake the role and to continually aim to develop the daily processes
• Keep others informed by sharing information
QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
• University degree Bachelor or Master with a relevant subject
• Professional communication skills
• Good Knowledge of main sales and marketing strategies and mechanics (sales and marketing funnel)
• Strategic thinking, multi-level thinking, understanding in context
• Salesmanship with a high service-minded attitude
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2-year relevant working experience in a sales role (hospitality preferred)
• First proven record as a salesperson
• Good understanding of sales and account-based management
• Knows how to organize and manager tasks, topics and projects in b2b and b2c environment.
• Able to work multi-tasking under pressure
• Speak in front of people with professional communication skills

• Very good knowledge of MS Office Software
• Very good Communicator and Networker in the team
• Positive and open personality
