About The Role
As Canva continues to deepen its Truly Local strategy, Vietnam stands out as one of our most critical growth markets. We are looking for a bold and visionary
Creative Producer
to join the Canva Vietnam team.

As the Creative Producer, you will lead the creative development and production of compelling, buzzworthy content — primarily in the form of
short-form video for social media
, with
future opportunities to expand into larger brand campaigns
such as TV commercials (TVCs), out-of-home (OOH), and other storytelling formats.

You'll be the driving force behind Canva Vietnam's creative storytelling — from strategy to execution. Whether you're scripting and directing, collaborating with agencies, or building out a freelance production crew, you'll bring ideas to life in a way that captivates audiences and strengthens Canva's brand in Vietnam.

You will work cross-functionally with global brand, growth, and content teams while leading localized initiatives that resonate deeply with Vietnamese users and culture. This role is ideal for someone from a
video production, creative direction, or content strategy background
, who loves to push creative boundaries and make a lasting impact.

At The Moment, This Role Is Focused On

• Lead the creative and content strategy for Canva Vietnam — from social media storytelling to broader campaign narratives
• Manage the social platforms and content calendar ensuring social pages remain active with impressive engagement and reach
• Own the end-to-end content creation process: from idea generation and scripting to filming, editing, and publishing.
• Create thumb-stopping short-form video content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Produce content independently or collaborate with freelance talent or production agencies to scale content output as needed.
• Develop creative ideas that may expand into larger brand expressions, including TVCs, OOH campaigns, or brand storytelling initiatives.
• Stay ahead of trends, creator culture, and media consumption habits in Vietnam, and leverage insights to craft content that resonates.
• Champion Canva's tone of voice and visual identity, ensuring all content is on-brand and locally relevant.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across brand, growth, and creative globally to align strategy and amplify campaigns.
• Track content performance and audience engagement, and continuously optimize storytelling approaches based on data and feedback.

You're probably a match if

• You have extensive years of experience in a creative production or content leadership role (e.g. creative producer, video director, content lead).
• You bring a strong portfolio or showreel showcasing creative, engaging, and emotionally resonant video content — especially for social platforms.
• You have hands-on skills or working experience across scriptwriting, directing, video editing, and post-production.
• You've developed content that drives engagement and garners attention, and have managed them within social media platforms— ideally in the Vietnamese market.
• You have a deep understanding of platform trends and audience behaviors across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
• You've managed or collaborated with freelancers, agencies, or production teams.
• You bring strong storytelling instincts and creative judgment — knowing how to bring an idea to life and make people feel something.
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cultures and teams.
• You're fluent in Vietnamese and English — both written and spoken.
