About This Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity to step up and join our Regional Internal Audit team at Crown, based in our office in
Da Nang or Dong Nai Vietnam
. This role primarily covers our entities across the APAC region, reporting to the Internal Audit Manager. Occasionally, this role may also support missions in EMENA and the Americas.

This role is open to applications from both Vietnamese citizens and foreign nationals, provided they have prior professional experience working in Vietnam.

The IA department, along with the Board, Executive Management, and the External Auditors, is a corporate governance cornerstone of Crown Holdings, Inc. In addition to its mission of giving assurance on the Company's control framework, it also contributes to our continuous improvement process. The Internal Audit department reports to the Audit Committee, which ensures its independence and objectivity.

  • Da Nang City: Lien Chieu Industrial Park, Hai Van, Da Nang, Vietnam
  • Dong Nai City: Tam Phuoc Industrial Park, Tam Phuoc, Dong Nai, Vietnam

Role Purpose

The Department Evaluates the Risk Exposures Relating to The Organization's Governance, Operations, And Information Systems with Four Objectives as Per COSO II Framework:

  • Strategic - high-level orientations and objectives set by the entity
  • Operations - effective and efficient use of the entity's resources
  • Reporting - reliability of financial statements
  • Compliance - with laws and regulations

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute audits in accordance with audit standards, plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Evaluate and assess risks, and identify control gaps of plants, operations, projects, and systems
  • Manage team and stakeholders during fieldwork
  • Perform financial and operational audits of plants, operations, projects, and systems in line with the Internal Audit Plan
  • Report audit findings and make recommendations for reducing risk, improving operations, reducing cost, and ensuring compliance with Company policy
  • Perform special reviews and participate in projects at the request of management
  • Abide by the department's Code of Ethics
  • Travel at least 40% of the time to countries in APAC region

Relevant Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Big 4 or International Companies in Audit, Control, Risk, Finance, Accounting or Sales Departments
  • Professional Certificate like CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is an asset
  • Experience of manufacturing processes would be advantageous, but is not required
