JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Quality Control Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that all software products meet the highest standards of quality before release. You will be responsible for establishing testing strategies, developing and executing test cases, coordinating user acceptance testing, and maintaining quality across all stages of the software development lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) with focus on quality assurance and automation testing.
  • Design, implement, and execute test cases based on detailed design and requirements.
  • Apply specialized technology knowledge where applicable, e.g., Siebel configuration, J2EE.
  • Collaborate with development teams to review requirements, analyze designs, and ensure quality throughout the development process.
  • May assume small leadership responsibilities, such as mentoring junior QA engineers or leading specific test modules.
  • Support project office activities, including documentation, reporting, and coordination with stakeholders.

REQUIREMENT

  • 2–4 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably with exposure to automation testing.
  • Understanding of SDLC and QA best practices.
  • Familiarity with technologies like Siebel, J2EE, or other enterprise-level systems is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze detailed designs and implement corresponding test cases.
  • Some leadership experience or exposure to project office responsibilities is advantageous.
