We are seeking a visionary and dedicated Campus Head of Kindergarten & Primary to join our expanding leadership team, commencing July 2026. Leadership Opportunity in International Kindergarten and Primary Education

As Campus Head of Kindergarten & Primary, you will drive the highest standards of teaching, learning, and well-being, reflecting the VAS values of personal excellence, respect, and global citizenship.

Key Leadership Responsibilities – Manage and Inspire Early Years and Primary Teams
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all Kindergarten and Primary programmes at campus level, ensuring delivery of both international and Vietnamese curriculum frameworks.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse teaching team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, inclusive practice, and high morale.
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for all students, promoting positive behaviour, safeguarding, and well-being across the school.
  • Collaborate effectively with school leaders, parents, and the wider community to enhance student outcomes and parental engagement.
  • Oversee the implementation of school policies, curriculum initiatives, and quality standards in line with VAS vision and values.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning, set clear improvement targets, and use data to drive school development priorities.
  • Champion innovation in pedagogy, digital learning, and enrichment activities to inspire curiosity and holistic development.
  • Manage staffing, resources, and operations efficiently, maintaining compliance with accreditation and government requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile – Campus Leadership in a Bilingual International School
  • Experienced Educational Leader: Demonstrated success leading or managing Early Years/Primary phases, ideally in an international or bilingual context.
  • Academic Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a relevant field, with an accredited teaching qualification. Further educational leadership or management certification is preferred.
  • Curriculum Expertise: Sound knowledge of Kindergarten and Primary curriculum development, with proven ability to embed best practices that enable strong student progress.
  • People Development: Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Essential Criteria – School Leadership in Early Childhood and Primary Education
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education/Early Childhood/Primary or a closely related field. Preference will be given to applicants with Educational Leadership, International Education, or similar qualifications.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent certification).
  • At least five years' relevant experience, including demonstrable campus or section leadership at the Kindergarten or Primary level.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, curriculum regulation, and contemporary educational technology.
