  • You will take charge of new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.

  • You will build and manage relationships with current customers, identify new customers and develop relationships for the purpose of selling assigned Varian products.

  • You will perform, under minimal supervision, all sales functions in assigned territory, including: analyzes territory for sales potential; develop and implement effective sales strategies; maintain appropriate level of territory coverage; plan and execute effective sales calls; schedule and perform product demonstrations; manage the sales order/quotation process; serve as a consultative resource to customers; achieve superior level of overall customer satisfaction; provide regular customer and market feedback to company.

  • You will represent Varian ethics, values and business practices with all internal and external constituents. Applicable to the Oncology Systems business only: Position must have full access to VMS client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many VMS clients require VMS employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites. Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access, and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of VMS employment in this position.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering or equivalent required 5+ years' experience in Healthcare Marketing, Product Management, Business Development or Service Management, Logistics, Engineering.

  • You have experience of selling medical devices or solutions.

  • You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to set priorities and manage multiple stakeholders.

  • You demonstrate strong analytical and technology skills needed as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • You have excellent writing skills with the ability to present complex ideas on paper and in presentations.

  • You have the ability to think strategically and tactically, as well as the ability to influence the actions and decision making of others in a matrix organization.

  • You have experience with SAP will be an additional advantage.
