In order to accompany the growth of Biocodex, we are looking for a: Accountant to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant financial transactions across all Biocodex VN entities. You will support the General Accountant Lead in bookkeeping, payments, tax filings, and reporting, helping maintain strong accounting control and reliable financial data for consolidation and audits.

Within Finance department , the Accountant will report to General Accountant.

Your Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations
• Record and verify daily accounting transactions (AR, AP, GL, cash, and fixed assets, inventory, …).
• Ensure invoices, receipts, and vouchers are properly supported and compliant.
• Maintain and reconcile accounting ledgers and sub-ledgers.
• Support month-end and year-end closings.
• Tax & Compliance
• Prepare and support submission of VAT, PIT, CIT, and other statutory reports.
• Update new tax laws and communicate relevant changes to the Supervisor.
• Assist in preparing reports for government agencies (DOIT, DPI, SBV, Statistics).
• Treasury & Payments
• Prepare payment requests and ensure proper approvals and documentation.
• Execute vendor and payroll payments through online banking.
• Support daily cash and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor advances and ensure timely clearance.
• Reporting & Audit Support
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting to HQ and local authorities.
• Prepare documentation and schedules for internal/external audits.
• Support intercompany reconciliation and consolidation pack preparation.
• Process & Control
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and approval matrix.
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and filing systems.
• Suggest improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications
Educational background ;

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professionnal Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in FMCG or pharmaceutical industries.

Technical Masteries (softwares, Sales Techniques, Etc.)

• Good understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills.
• High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Fluent in Vietnamese; and English communication.

An interest in artificial intelligence and its application in the workplace is a prerequisite, as we actively encourage its adoption to boost innovation and performance on a daily basis.
