Senior DevOps Engineer

Report to:
Director of Engineering

What you will do:

As a Senior Engineer, you are expected to be a strong and self-motivated individual with the ability to independently drive decisions, and execute and deliver medium-complex projects end-to-end without the involvement of other supervisors.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Transform the existing system into microservice architecture at infrastructure layer
  • Work with the data engineer team to propose, design and implement a data platform that will serve as a unified single source of truth for business intelligence and analytics
  • Work with cross-functional teams to explore and setup tools and automation to scale business operations

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer Science, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps
  • Experience setting up and managing AWS services such as IAM, VPC, API Gateway, EC2, RDS, Redshift, SNS, SQS, Lambda, ECS
  • Experience using Docker and container orchestration, such as Kubernetes
  • Experience in scripting (Bash/ Python) and infrastructure automation such as terraform, ansible
  • Experience with GitLab, ELK, or equivalent technology stack
  • Could work at least one programming language, such as Java or Javascript is a plus
  • Be smart, hungry, and focused. Eager to learn and able to learn fast
