Role Description

  • Analyze the business specifications, then prepare technical specifications and develop new systems or enhance existing systems for supporting business needs.
  • Support the team leader on technical analysis to provide the best technical solution as well as support colleagues for solving technical issues to complete the assigned projects/tasks in a timely manner.
  • In charge of unit testing on enhancements/new development under responsibility to ensure developed modules match business requirements.
  • Investigate and answer daily inquiries on systems functional as well as problems encountered in order to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Assist users/team leader on building test scripts to cover all test cases

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in PHP programming, specifically with Laravel and Moodle frameworks. Experience of working with common PHP CMS such as Drupal, Joomla, WordPress…
  • Database Skills: Strong understanding of database architecture and performance tuning using MySQL, MariaDB, and MSSQL.
  • Frontend Proficiency: Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, AJAX, and JSON.
  • JavaScript Frameworks: Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React JS, Redux, Angular, and Vue is a plus.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and SourceSafe.
  • Linux Environment: Experience working in a Linux environment.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA, AZURE DEVOPS
