System Validation Senior Engineer

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate end-to-end system functionality, ensuring seamless interaction between hardware and software components.
• Identify, reproduce, and debug functional and performance issues, collaborating closely with design and development teams to implement effective solutions.
• Design and perform performance validation, including benchmarking, power, and stress tests. Analyze test data to identify bottlenecks, propose optimizations, and enhance overall SoC performance.
• Integrate and maintain test programs and applications for SoC system validation.
• Port or develop custom applications or workloads to simulate real-world load conditions for validation environments.
• Create and maintain Test Specifications, Test Plans, Test Reports, and Validation Reports, ensuring traceability of test coverage and results.
• Take ownership of assigned validation responsibilities and contribute to technical discussions, issue resolution, and project planning.
• Participate in project estimation, effort planning, and risk assessment for validation deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in System Validation for Automotive SoCs or related embedded domains.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of SoC functionality and performance validation at system level.
• Experience with ADAS / IVI / Gateway use cases for automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Strong capability to define validation use cases, KPIs, and acceptance criteria aligned with OEM requirements.
• Proven experience in preparing Test Specifications, setting up Test Environments, and conducting system-level validation.
• Deep understanding of SoC architecture, including processors, memory subsystems, and peripheral interfaces.
• Experience working with Hypervisor environments, guest OS configuration, and multi-OS setups.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux and/or Android systems.
• Strong debugging, issue triage, and root cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, or shell scripting for automation and test development.
• Solid understanding of bootloaders, including IPL, Fast Boot, and Secure Boot mechanisms.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ARM-based SoCs (Cortex-A, Cortex-R cores).
• Knowledge of hardware IP blocks and accelerators (Ethernet, PCIe, USB, UCIe, ISP, GPU, NPU, IMR, etc.).
• Familiarity with SoC simulation and emulation platforms (Protium, Palladium, etc.).
• Experience with power and thermal validation, or system stability testing under stress conditions.

• Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, multi-site engineering teams.
• Ownership-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to dynamic project requirements.
