NAVER Vietnam Visual Experience (VVE)

The Vietnam Visual Experience represents NAVER Vietnam's strategic expansion into the field of next-generation media and production technology.

As part of NAVER's global vision to redefine storytelling through technology, the Visual Experience team - known as Real-Time Engine Studio - combines production technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to build the next-generation content container for NAVER's platforms.

We provide cutting-edge media technologies for NAVER's diverse storytelling products, including CHZZK, Virtual YouTuber, K-POP, and Drama, enabling creators to deliver richer, more immersive visual experiences to users.

We are looking for Junior (Mid) Backend Engineers (Java/Kotlin/Spring).

Your daily task:

• Develop Java(Kotlin) Backend part of various NAVER Services like Academic Info, Blog, Commerce, Dictionary, Naver Care, NAVER Cloud, Security, Weverse etc.
• Participating in code reviews and architecture design
• Proactive, can-do attitude and strong commitment

Your background:

• 3+ years of work experience on Backend systems with Java(Kotlin) applications to serve large-scale and high traffic projects
• Have +2 years of experience in Java (Kotlin, Spring Framework)
• Experience or strong knowledge of MSA and k8s
• Experience or strong knowledge one of databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB,...
• Have experience in Message Queue like Kafka
• Understanding & experience in Data structure, Algorithm, Distributed Service, OOP
• Open-minded, honest and have a positive attitude towards people
• Good at communication skills in general and English skills in particular

It's a big plus if you:

• Have experience in DevOps and CI/CD
• Have experience in ELK-stack
• Have experience with distributed systems (e.g. HBase, Vitese, etc.)
• Have experience in Server Architecture Design for handling massive traffic
• Proficiency in the Korean language is preferred
