Overvie
w
The Mountain Tribe is seeking an experienced and globally minded Summer Camp Director to lead, design, and manage our international-standard summer camp programs in Viet Nam. This role requires strong leadership, extensive outdoor education experience, and a deep understanding of risk management, child safety, and experiential learning principles

Key Responsibilitie
s
Program Leadership & Managemen
t
• Lead the full cycle of summer camp operations, including planning, training, execution, supervision, and evaluation
.
• Ensure daily camp activities meet high-quality experiential learning outcomes and safety standards
.
• Oversee a diverse team of local and international staff, providing coaching, ongoing training, and performance evaluation
.
Safety, Risk & Complianc
e
• Implement and uphold international standards such as ACA, ICF, and global outdoor education practices
.
• Develop, review, and enforce camp policies related to safety, emergency response, child protection, and risk management
.
• Conduct on-site assessments and ensure all activities follow best-practice protocols
.
Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagemen
t
• Strengthen relationships with international schools and educational partners
.
• Represent The Mountain Tribe professionally in meetings, campus visits, parent briefings, and industry events
.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align camp design with long-term organizational strategy
.
Operations & Logistic
s
• Work across both TMT Basecamp locations: Tri A Lake and Dragon Head
.
• Coordinate logistics including transportation, accommodation, equipment, and staffing for all camp sessions
.
• Maintain camp records, training logs, incident reports, and operational documentation

Requirement
s
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Camp Director in Viet Nam, Asia, or international settings
.
• Eligible to work in Viet Nam or willing to relocate long-term
.
• Strong network and established relationships with international schools
.
• Experience working in remote outdoor environments and multi-site operations
.
• Familiarity with international program standards such as ACA, ICF, and equivalent frameworks
.
• Hold at least 5 globally recognized certifications, such as
:
• Wilderness First Responder (WFR
)
• Open Water Rescue or Lifeguard certification

• Risk Management for Outdoor Program

• Camp Director / Camp Leadership Trainin

• Child Protection or Safeguarding Trainin
