We're Hiring: Technical Buyer / Procurement Engineer (Procurement Department)

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for mechanical, electrical, and automation components, spare parts, and project materials.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical specifications to ensure accurate sourcing and material selection.
Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers (both local and overseas) based on quality, cost competitiveness, lead time, and reliability.
Request, compare, and analyze quotations; negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms to achieve the best value.
Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, and Project teams to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with technical and project needs.
Create and monitor Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP; follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.
Maintain and develop strong supplier relationships to drive performance improvement and long-term partnership.
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, quality standards, and project specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

5–6 years of experience as a Technical Buyer / Purchasing Engineer in machine manufacturing, automation, or industrial equipment.

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documents.

Good negotiation and communication skills with both local and overseas suppliers.

Experience with ERP/SAP and import/export procedures is a plus.

Good English skills (especially in reading and writing technical terms).
