Work you'll do

Perform tasks/ assignments/ working plan in the audit assistant's scope of work as Audit Associate, under the supervision of the Senior in charge or Manager in charge of each engagement.

• Engagement management:

• Be assigned tasks by the Team leader and/ or Senior under the allocation/ delegation of the Team leader.

• Ask questions when being assigned tasks to ensure understanding of tasks, deadlines, content and presentation of work results, implementation methods and related responsibilities in the process of the work.

• Discuss professional issues with clients under the consultation/approval of the Audit team leader.

• Perform specific tasks according to audit procedures as assigned by the team leader.

• Assist all engagement team members to complete tasks as planned.

• Assist team leader to make reports as required by the client engagement contract.

• Assist team leader to complete documents and ensure that review notes are reasonably answered on schedule.

• Review draft reports before realeasing and making reference data.

• Ensure compliance of all Code of Conduct, Ethics, Independence and Security requirements. Ensure the confidentiality of the documents and working papers of clients during work process.

• Learning and Development:

• Participate in various technical and talent learning according to the A&A Learning curriculum designed annualy as required for the level.

• Being provided on-the-job training by Seniors or Managers through direct interaction on assigned engagements.

• Self develop, both technically and softskills through self-paced learning via Deloitte Learning Platforms and Deloitte resources.

• Ensure the minimum learning hours as required by the Function for the level professional development.

• Continually self develop to meet with the requirements of the Global Talent Standards (GTS) for Audit and Assurance professionals at associate level. Conduct the capability assessment against the GTS annually to have action plans for self development for promotion/progression.

• Reports and Communication

• Regularly report on the progress of the work within the assigned scope to meet the requirements of the content, presentation method and the deadline.

• Update and get consultation from team leader when facing dificulties during course of work.

• Respond timely to team leader when requested. Complete working papers at request of the team leader and ensure that the service quality control objectives are met.

• Stay connected with the team via different communication channels of the Firm, whether working online or offline.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, finance, banking.

• Having knowledge or background in computer science, data science, data analytics, programming, Power BI, SQL language is an advantge.

• Excellent English language skills, competent computer skill. Ability to use other languagues (Chinese, Japanse, Korea) is a plus.

• Good communication skills, analytical thinking, ability to work in team; frequent travelling.
