 About the Role

We are looking for one more 
Senior Mobile Game Tester
 who is passionate about delivering high-quality gaming experiences and has a strong background in QA for mobile platforms (iOS & Android). In this role, you'll take the lead in testing gameplay, performance, compatibility, and live features across devices. You'll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify issues early, ensure smooth releases, and continuously improve the quality of our games.

This role is ideal for QA professionals with deep mobile experience, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to own and improve testing pipelines.

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute test plans for mobile games on Android and iOS across various genres and devices.
  • Detect, log, and track bugs using issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, etc.).
  • Conduct functional, usability, compatibility, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers to clarify feature behavior and validate fixes.
  • Monitor and test live builds for stability, performance, and user-facing issues.
  • Lead device coverage planning, including selection of test devices for casual, mid-core, and low-end markets.
  • Build and maintain QA documentation including test cases, test matrices, and release checklists.
  • Provide QA input during early stages of development to anticipate edge cases and technical risks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years
     of QA experience in mobile game testing.
  • Strong understanding of mobile platforms (Android/iOS), their ecosystems, and limitations.
  • Experience using test management and bug tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).
  • Familiar with testing both native apps and games developed in engines like Unity.
  • Strong knowledge of gameplay testing, UI/UX validation, and performance analysis.
  • Experience in live ops environments and familiarity with testing updates, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Ability to write detailed bug reports and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working with real devices, emulators, and remote testing tools.
  • Solid understanding of mobile performance metrics (FPS, memory, crashes, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail, self-discipline, and a player-first mindset.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with automated or semi-automated testing tools for mobile QA.
  • Familiarity with Unity log files, crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase, etc.).
  • Experience testing multiplayer features, matchmaking, or live-service game content.
  • Exposure to analytics testing, A/B testing, and user telemetry.
  • Passion for mobile games — especially casual, puzzle, or multiplayer genres.
