We're looking for a seasoned Head of Engineering to lead our technical team in Ho Chi Minh City. You'll be responsible for building and scaling high-performance engineering teams while remaining hands-on with code. This is a rare opportunity to lead while staying deeply technical and involved in architecture and development decisions.

You'll work closely with our Product, Design, and Commercial teams to ship impactful features across web platforms for regional and global clients.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional engineering team in HCMC
• Drive technical excellence across projects while actively contributing to codebases
• Own architectural decisions, technical roadmap, and system design
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business goals
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure quality standards
• Attract and retain top-tier engineering talent through strong technical leadership
• Build a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and innovation

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• Proven hands-on expertise in web development using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (Node/React), Go, Python, or PHP
• Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and software design patterns
• Comfortable shipping products in agile environments with CI/CD and cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and driving team performance
• Experience working in consultancy or product-driven environments is a plus
• Experience scaling engineering teams from the ground up
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Contributions to open-source projects is a plus
• Knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure-as-code tools
