ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Accounting Manager is responsible for performing general accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, managing tax declarations, supporting consolidation activities, and monitoring the company's cash flow. This role ensures the accuracy and compliance of financial operations while supporting management in data-driven financial decisions
.

General Accounting

  • Record, verify, and reconcile accounting transactions according to Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and company policies
  • Maintain the General Ledger and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
  • Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records and supporting documents

Tax Declaration & Compliance

  • Prepare and file VAT, CIT, PIT, and other statutory reports accurately and on time
  • Monitor compliance with tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities during audits
  • Maintain documentation and working papers for tax audits and inspections
  • Support tax automation initiatives and updates to internal tax guideline

Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor daily cash positions across multiple entitie
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts reports to support funding decision
  • Coordinate with banks on payment transactions, deposits, and loan managemen
  • Work with the Finance Manager to improve cash utilization and minimize idle fund
  • Manage paper- work in working with bank for bank signatories update and bank opening

Financial Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports for internal revie
  • Support audit processes by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentatio
  • Assist in cross-department coordination for financial data accuracy and completeness

Consolidation & Internal Control

  • Support the preparation of group consolidated reports in tax and other
  • Identify any internal control weakness and propose the remedy

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting, including at least 3 years in a General Accountant or Supervisor role
  • Certified Chief Accountant (Vietnam Ministry of Finance license required)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite)
  • Familiar with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and has a basic understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Audit experience is preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and consolidation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, financial modeling
  • Skilled in Python for data analysis, automation, and financial process optimization is preferred
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent accuracy and organizational abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and entities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
