Job Title: Smart Contract Developer (Rust, Solana, EVM)

Gross Monthly Salary Range: Max 2,500 USD (no SHUI)

As a Smart Contract Developer at Undercurrent Capital, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying smart contracts. You will work closely with our team to create secure and efficient decentralized applications (dApps) with a focus on DeFi. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, proficiency in Rust, and the ability to bring complex Web3 projects to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts using Rust.
  • Lead the development of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, including lending protocols, AMMs, yield aggregators, and more.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring high standards of security and functionality to protect user assets and minimize vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to create seamless blockchain solutions.
  • Identify and fix vulnerabilities in existing smart contracts by conducting audits and performing unit and integration testing.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues related to smart contracts.
  • Create unit and integration tests for smart contracts and optimize contract performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, protocols, and best practices in the blockchain technologies, particularly Solidity, and Rust.

Key Requirements

  • At least 1 years of experience in blockchain development, focusing on smart contracts.
  • Strong proficiency in Rust, especially for Solana.
  • Experience working with EVM-compatible chains (Solidity experience is a plus).
  • Prior experience in building or contributing to DeFi projects is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in developing Web3 applications and working with blockchain APIs.
  • Experience with smart contract testing frameworks and debugging tools.
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully delivering smart contract projects from design to deployment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
