About the Role

We're looking for an experienced
Lead Blockchain Engineer
to design and develop the core protocols powering our Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem. You'll oversee a small team of smart contract developers and ensure that our on-chain architecture, governance, and tokenomics are built to the highest standards of performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts and core protocols for a Layer-1 blockchain.
  • Lead a team of 3–5 Smart Contract Developers, managing task allocation, code reviews, and technical quality.
  • Architect and implement key components such as governance modules, consensus-related contracts, and tokenomics.
  • Work closely with Backend and Frontend teams to deliver fully integrated on-chain/off-chain solutions.
  • Research and adopt emerging blockchain technologies (EVM chains, Substrate, Cosmos SDK, Move, etc.).
  • Establish best practices for smart contract development, perform internal audits, and ensure protocol-level security.

Requirements

  • At least
    5 years of blockchain development experience
    , including
    2+ years leading a smart contract team
    .
  • Strong command of
    Solidity
    and proficiency in at least one additional language (Rust/Substrate or Move).
  • Deep knowledge of
    EVM internals
    , including architecture, gas optimization, and storage models.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and optimizing contracts on
    Ethereum or EVM-compatible networks
    (BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, etc.).
  • Understanding of
    Layer-1 blockchain mechanisms
    (consensus, validator, staking, governance).
  • Proven track record building
    complex DeFi protocols
    such as DEXs, lending, yield farming, or derivative platforms.
  • Strong expertise in
    smart contract security
    (reentrancy, flash loan exploits, frontrunning, overflows, audits).
  • Experience collaborating with or conducting
    security audits
    .
  • Excellent
    leadership and mentoring skills
    , with a track record of growing technical teams.
  • Bonus points for open-source contributions, published protocols, or
    deployed mainnet products
    .
