Role Description

The Senior CDP Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing PNJ's in-house Customer Data Platform (CDP). This role plays a key part in enabling personalized customer experiences, driving data-driven marketing, and supporting cross-functional teams with actionable customer insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CDP data models to unify customer profiles across multiple touchpoints (online, offline, CRM, app, loyalty, etc.)
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure high-quality data ingestion, cleansing, and segmentation.
  • Build and manage customer segmentation frameworks (RFM, behavioral, predictive models) to support targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Marketing, CRM, and Omnichannel teams to develop personalized communication strategies.
  • Analyze customer journeys and identify opportunities to enhance engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Continuously improve automation, data accuracy, and system scalability to support PNJ's lifestyle retail vision.
  • Support integration with other systems such as Promotion Engine, BI tools, and external marketing platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing, Business Analytics, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in data-driven marketing, CRM, or CDP management.
  • Strong understanding of customer data modeling, segmentation, and personalization logic.
  • Hands-on experience with CDP tools or data systems (e.g., mParticle, Segment, Adobe CDP, or in-house platforms).
  • Proficient in SQL, data visualization tools (Power BI, QuickSight, or Superset).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into business actions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
