Job Scopes:

To provide a safe, secure and comfortable environment by maintaining the hotel's assets through ongoing preventive maintenance as well as day to day maintenance activities and ensuring that all mechanical and plant systems are Operating efficiently.

  • Directs and controls all subordinate Engineering associate to ensure that all day to day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met.
  • Maintains facilities and equipment by and conducting routine inspections and determining appropriate rectification measures.
  • Maintains systems to be able to handle day to day guest requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Plans and schedules appropriate ongoing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Keeps records of all information in the form of blueprints, diagrams, manuals, maintenance records, logs and journals relevant to the efficient operation of the department.
  • Implement and manage energy conservation programs to control utilities costs.

Position Requirements

  • 5 or more years in the head of hotel Engineering role and previous management experience a plus, with Engineering experiences of the hotel preopening in Vietnam.
  • Bachelor or Master Degree or full professional qualification.
  • Ability to lead all technical aspects of hotel maintenance and operations.
  • Knowledge of hotel systems like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, fire/life safety etc.
  • Strong leadership, financial, project management and technical skills.
  • Attention to detail and guest service orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of individuals.
  • Detailed knowledge of working practices of engineering.
  • Good administrative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
