About the Role

As a
Game Tester

, you will play, test, and break games to find bugs, glitches, and design inconsistencies before the games are launched. You'll work closely with our internal QC team and external clients to ensure the
highest quality assurance standards

.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Playtest games across platforms (mobile, PC, console, web) according to test plans
  • Detect, document, and report bugs in a clear, structured, and detailed way
  • Reproduce bugs and provide steps/screenshots/videos for developers
  • Perform different types of testing: functional, regression, UI/UX, localization, performance
  • Collaborate with teammates and communicate feedback with clarity
  • Support building and improving internal test case libraries
  • Ensure product quality and stability are covered on each release.
  • Ensure timeline targets are consistently met and communicate any delays to the Team Leader.
  • Work with the customer team to review the requirements for the new Game to ensure that requirements are testable.
  • Test game logic, UI & UX on Mobile or Tablet devices or simulators.
  • Report your own working progress and timelines.
  • Be creative when working with the team and get involved in giving advice to improve the product

You Should Have

  • Passion for games and strong attention to detail
  • Experience in manual testing or QA is a big plus
  • Ability to communicate issues clearly and logically
  • Basic understanding of software testing and bug lifecycle
  • Comfortable with tools like Jira, Google Docs
  • Willingness to learn and work under deadlines
  • Prior experience in game QA or software testing
  • Familiar with various game genres and platforms
  • Knowledge of test cases, test plans, or game design documents
  • Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving mindset
