Devops Engineer

Team: DevOps / Platform Team

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (senior/middle level) specializing in on-premise platforms, particularly OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes, with strong expertise in designing and implementing robust monitoring and observability solutions.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our platform architecture — ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance across all environments.

Main Responsibilities

●      Review and design on-premise platform architecture, focusing on OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes, and related technologies.

●      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment with business objectives and scalability requirements.

●      Contribute to DevOps initiatives based on the DevOps Roadmap within the VPS environment.

●      Deploy, configure, and maintain on-premise infrastructure with a strong emphasis on OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.

●      Review deployment processes to ensure high availability, resilience, and optimize performance.

●      Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and platform issues.

What We Expect in the First 6–12 Months:

Within 6 months:

●      Proactive & Gain a deep understanding of the current on-premise infrastructure in VPS.

●      Involved and take ownership of one or more platform components (e.g.,cluster lifecycle management, Api management, Kafka, Shift-left CI/CD process/Tools ...).

●      Delivered improvements or automation scripts that enhance platform stability and deployment efficiency.

Within 12 months:

●      Lead or co-own the new design and implementation of a platform enhancement project (e.g., observability stack redesign, OpenShift upgrade, or security hardening initiative).

●      Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to establishing best practices across the DevOps/Platform team.

●      Propose and drive infrastructure optimization initiatives to improve cost efficiency and scalability.

Requirements
Must-Have:

●      Fluent communication in English (both written and verbal).

●      Proficiency in Linux systems, with solid scripting skills (Shell script is a must).

●      Strong understanding of Git and branching models.

● years of experience in DevOps Platform Engineering roles.

●      Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, RKE, Helm, and Ansible.

●      Hands-on experience with Kafka Eco System.

●      Deep knowledge of the Observability Stack (Monitoring, Logging, Tracing).

●      Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

●      Expertise in microservices architecture.

●      Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in distributed environments.

●      Familiarity with Python or Golang for automation and tooling.

●      Strong understanding of Namespaces, RBAC, Service Accounts, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Network Policies.

●      Solid skill of container orchestration (Kubernetes): CRI, CNI, CSI and Kubernetes architecture: API Server, Scheduler, Controller Manager, etcd, kubelet.

●      At least have CKA certificate

Nice-to-Have:

●      Experience with OpenShift in Production environment or other Enterprise Container Orchestration platforms.

●      N8n experience is a plus

●      Working knowledge of middleware components such as Queue systems, API Gateway, or Secret management tools.

●      Experience in security hardening, compliance automation, or infrastructure cost optimization.

●      Exposure to hybrid infrastructure (on-premise + cloud).

●      CKS certificate is a plus
